GRADUATION

After 4 years of long hard work, I finally graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I graduated top of the class (Summa Cum Laude) and apparently the way they honor you for a 4.0 is making you pray in front of 2,000 people! Scary is all I have to say. However, see your name in print is always pretty cool, and mine appeared quite a few times.
It was a great weekend and a chance to celebrate all of my accomplishments. Everyone was proud, everyone cried, what more could you want...The best quote however was from my Dad, "Not only did you do it all on your own, you set the bar incredibly high for your brother...he better start thinking about that." It was great to see how proud they were of me. College graduation is apparently really cool---we lucked out at the whole college commencement---I walked up my parents aisle in the basketball arena and sat right across from them. Thanks for supporting me for four years and encouraging me to always do my best.

Massive Update

So, I was never really good at journaling, and I don't appear to be any better at bloggging. So last time I updated this thing we had just moved into our new apartment in Alpine, since then I've taught fourth grade for an entire year, our apartment flooded and we had to move out for 6 weeks. Thank goodness we rent Calvin's parent's basement and only had to relocate upstairs. WE surprised my parents for Christmas...that was a blast..they were shocked and stunned. REally we have jsut been enjoying the stress of life and school and work!
